Premier Business Advisors was founded by K. Michael Hickerson. He brings a unique background and set of talents to PBA. His areas of expertise compliment one another helping to lead Premier Business Advisors toward innovations in business consulting for today’s New Economy.
Michael Hickerson is a founder and Managing Partner of Premier Business Advisors . He has also served as President, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Sales and Service and Vice President / General Manager for a number of companies widely recognized for their leadership in specific market segments.
Michael spent his early years working at AT&T where he was a leading contributor and directly responsible for developing innovative strategies for marketing to the retail industry. This included working directly with the leading retailers in the U.S. Market. After leaving AT&T he has spent the last 20 years in executive roles and providing consulting services to a broad range of markets.
During these 20 years Michael has been a passionate innovator. Aside from consistently developing new and innovative sales and service management tool's and technique's, he was a leading innovator in developing successful distribution strategies where previous models were non-existent. He was also an innovator in the development of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) before it became the significant market it is today. Michael has opened international offices in several countries including, Japan, Korea, Australia, China, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and Mexico. From 1999 to 2005 he served as VP Worldwide Sales and Service and helped to lead the development of a unique corporate culture and a one of a kind sales and service strategy, that resulted in a $200,000,000 revenue stream and a 51% acquisition by AT&T. This was the second time that he helped lead this level of revenue for a start-up company in the same time frame.
Most recently Michael has served as the President of a software company which resulted in an acquisition by Dolby Labs.
Michael served in executive positions with companies such as Mitel Communications, PictureTel Inc., 2Wire Inc. and STEP Labs. He has provided consulting services to Perot Systems, Swiss Bank, AT&T, IBM, ShoreTel, Effective Training Associates and others.
